Tetz Phillipsburg

In conjunction with Engineering Properties PC, AECI obtained the approvals for an industrial facility for a E. Tetz and Sons, the areas leading vertically integrated aggregate supplier, incorporating the following:
        1. Transit – mix concrete plant
        2. Hot mix asphalt plant
        3. Raw and recycled aggregate processing
        4. Waste concrete aggregate re-capture with water recycling
        5. Aggregate sediment re-capture
        6. Stormwater management
        7. Truck dispatch / repair / fueling

This project required a complex Environmental Impact Statement and, most importantly, has survived various legal challenges!

Brookfield Resource Management

Working with Taconic Design, Hydroqual, Staiano Engineering,  Karen Arent Community Landscape,  and Verticon, AECI is developing plans and environmental documentation for a state of the art industrial recycling facility for Brookfield Metals.  The project includes environmental failsafe measures for groundwater resource protection, noise and visual mitigation, wetland permitting, innovative stormwater management facilities and other measures being developed to make this a first of its kind facility.  Follow us in real time as this project continues and we update our progress.

Competitive Power Ventures, Valley Project

Working with Taconic Design, TRC, Worley Parsons, Burns and McDonnell and Karen Arent Community Landscape, AECI is processing the local approvals for a 630 MW gas fired combined cycle energy facility.  The facility will provide significant environmental benefits by displacing production from older plants generating higher emissions.  Facilities of this scale, a “vest pocket”  gas fired generation plant, will also reduce impacts related to the transportation of coal and oil to larger, older facilities.   Follow us in real time as this project continues and we update our progress.

Sonny Boy Recycling

AECI permitted this recycling facility on a five-acre site in Orange County, New York.  Subject to NYSDEC, NYSDOT, and Town site plan approvals, AECI was brought in when progress on the project stagnated.  Within eight months, all approvals were in place.
