AECI provides a range of services related to forest and agricultural land management. These services include Forest Management Plans, Real Property Assessment Reduction Plans, CAFO’s, Nutrient Management Plans, Erosion and Sedimentation Control, Riparian Restoration, Conservation Reserve Planning and more. AECI staff are familiar with the operational characteristics of both conventional and organic agricultural methods as well as conventional versus low-impact forest management. SEQR Compliance
AECI has prepared and/or reviewed environmental impact statements for a broad range of projects. Staff is intimately familiar with SEQRA and NEPA regulations relative to environmental impact assessment and performs most background technical studies in-house.
Environmental Site Assessments
AECI performs phase I and phase II ESA’s for lending institutions, government and prospective buyers. Recently, AECI was contracted by the New Hampton Fire District to perform an ESA on a property adjacent to the fire station. The Phase I identified the potential for site contaminations from cross-connected drains. A limited Phase II assessment identified contaminated soils on site and the Fire District was able to have the remediations performed at the seller’s expense.
Terrestrial and Aquatic Resources
AECI provides a range of services related to wildlife and habitat studies. From site walkovers to endangered species and unique habitat evaluations, AECI staff provides the documentation necessary to respond to prevailing Federal and State regulations
